My Journey

My fascination with the ocean began early, but it was during my undergraduate studies in Marine Biology that I truly understood the urgent need for conservation action. Learning about issues such as ocean acidification, migratory disruptions, and declining fish populations transformed my perspective from admiration to activism.

Pursuing a Master's in Marine Conservation and Climate Change allowed me to dive deeper into the science behind these challenges and explore evidence-based solutions. My dissertation on small shark population metrics in the Isle of Man and fishing impacts taught me that while the problems are complex, there is hope if we act now with informed, collaborative approaches.

Today, I'm eager to translate my academic knowledge into real-world impact. Whether through fieldwork, policy advocacy, community education, or research, I want to contribute to the growing global movement to protect our oceans.
